Correction: I missed the part about remembering something that light does. I wanted to add, the memories of my life come into the light, and make more clear to me many of my experiences in life. Hence the list of events that will make my memoir shine.

    Dear Patricia,

I am not sure if I am tracking, but I will attempt to elaborate/moderate on the prompt: “Remember something light does. Make a list.

Begin writing with “This is not about…”

    Light shines.

Light helps us to see our way in the dark.

    Light gives us hope.

Light shows us the way to a better tomorrow.

Light attracts us to finding paths through which to grow.

Light gives us a better mood, unless we have migraines.

Light allows us to get a better glimpse into ourselves.

This is not about writing an autobiography, which is based on facts. This is a memoir of my life. The memories of my life come

into the light, and make more clear to me many of my experiences in life. Hence, the events of my life will make my memoir shine

from the light. This is a memoir that portrays the most important experiences of my life that make up who I am today. This is me

figuring out how and why certain experiences and incidents influenced my life. Was it fate? Was it Destiny? Who? What? When?

Where? How? Why? These questions I ask, are a self-examination of me and my existence. The facts of my life are only an

autobiography, but the realizations of the emotions and visions that are portrayed describe the incidents and events of my life. This

is what I will write in the forward of my book to clarify a bit about what my book will entail. This is not about an autobiography, it’s

about a memoir for my upcoming book.
