Patricia Lee Lewis launched Thorns of the Mesquite, her debut novel, on her 88th birthday in November, to an overflow, rowdy crowd of readers & writers. Following up, with the intention of sharing all profits that come to her from the book — to support survivors of domestic violence and promote civil rights and social justice — she is motivated!
